Ordered a taxi due to the inept shambles which is the Isle of Wight railway – one train broke down so it shut completely for the day! Bus replacement was over an hour late getting me to Sandown so took the plunge and ordered from this firm. Despite being busy, a very pleasant lady – the owner I believe, turned up on the dot within an hour of my enquiry. She was a good laugh on the journey to Ryde – pity she doesn’t run the Railway or the bus service!! Well done Akar Taxis
